Common questions

How do I sign up or start a campaign?

Create an account on the web at canvasslocal.com/signup, then set up your campaign and upload your voter list from the dashboard. Volunteers join with the invite code you share.

Does the mobile app work offline?

Yes. The app is built for the doorstep — you can canvass and record responses with no signal, and your work syncs automatically once you reconnect.

Why does the app ask for my location?

Location is used only while the app is open, to show your position on the canvassing map and follow your walk route. It is never used for advertising or background tracking, and you can turn it off in your device settings.

How do billing and plans work?

Plans and usage-based AI credits are managed on the web dashboard and billed securely through Stripe. See pricing for plan details, or open Settings → Billing in your dashboard to manage your subscription.

How do I delete my account or data?

Campaign admins can delete voter records and campaign data from the dashboard. To close your account entirely or request deletion of your personal data, email us and we’ll take care of it. See our Privacy Policy for details.
